This is exactly what I would do!! We had a flea issue a few years ago and it takes some work to get rid of the problem completly, unfortunatly.
I bought a Roomba (robot vaccuum) to do daily vaccuuming for me
It was so easy and to pick up eggs and larvae that havn't hatched daily vaccuuming is a must!!
