Angry My puppy is regressing! What am I doing wrong?

Hi there, I have a 4.5 month old Morkie male who was doing ok with his potty training until about 2 weeks ago. Before, he would always let us know when he needed to poop and it was really just the peeing that was the problem. About 2 weeks ago he STOPPED showing us signs of him needing to poop, and he just poops in the house.

I don't understand - I feel like I am doing everything right. I clean up the accident spots with that Nature's Miracle stuff every time. I feed him and take him out on a schedule, I keep him crated when I can't watch him, and when I do watch him I try to make sure he's where I can see him (we have baby gates around the living room and pretty much confine him to that area). Lately he has been sneaking under the end table by the couch to poop! It's truly impossible to watch him for every single second that he's out of his crate! He seems to do it when I'm writing an email or otherwise taking my eyes off of him for a few moments.

He's also started peeing places he never has before, like the kitchen floor. Is it possible that he was doing well for a while, and now he's regressing?? He's not neutered yet (will be next month) and has also started marking things outside. There have been no major changes in our schedules or lives. He pees and poops when he's taken outside, and he always gets praise and a little treat right away when he does it.

HELP! What should I do? I can't keep him crated 24 hours a day but I also can't follow him around for our entire waking existence! I am at a loss. Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice would be appreciated!
