Default Furbaby getting a hard lesson

This morning I did what I had been putting off for weeks.. I shampooed my carpets. To do this corky needed to go in the garage, No if ands or buts!

There is a screen door to the entrance of the garage from the house, I put it up a few weeks ago because I was planning on getting a dog. Corky can see me and hear me walking around the house. I started at 930. Corky barked pretty much off and on (More ON) till I was done at 11:30. I went in there after he stopped barking around 11, and gave him a treat for being a good dog. ( I never went in when he was barking) But I have to leave him in there because the carpets are not completely dry and I do not want him to have any type of issues.

As I type this he is barking, Thank goodness I live in a new development and there are only 2 houses around me, and they are at work. He has food and water, and the toys he plays with... When he does stop barking I will go in there with a treat and praise, But he cannot come out yet.

I feel bad, I really do not want to leave him in there, But he has to stay. and even if I put him in the laundry room, I will still have the same issue.

I guess I just need to know if I am doing it right??

Sad
