I totally get what you are saying. My parents are getting up there in age and are thinking about getting a kitten. Their 14 year old cat just died of cancer and they have another cat that is several years old that is now confused and lonely. I'm wondering who's going to take the cat in 10-15 years when mom and dad are too old or God forbid not here anymore?
