If I could have afforded a yorkie when my kids were younger I would have had one. I remember a boxer mix we had that had her leg broken twice (reclining chair accident, same chair both times) But that was from my hubby not paying attention, not the kids. I'm surprised the vet didn't call animal control on us after the 2nd break...sheesh! I did throw the chair out much to hubbies dismay.
A lot of good info here, will be looking forward to pics, etc when you find your new pup. Like others said here, research the breeder, even if it's just throwing a thread out in the breeder's forum. It seems there is always someone who knows about them for good reasons or bad, or might have some links you might have missed if you tried google.
