Now as a Canadian...I really don't want to put a damper on the sale of BBs
...in fact, I really like the one I have for my girl. But, I should also put out there, the BB can sometimes rub the back of the shoulders and if your pup's fur is long...or just the right texture, it can break the fur. I keep Charlee in a long coat, and I did find that her fur was breaking a bit where the BB buckled. My friend's Silky terrier's coat broke down really short, and then her fur began to grow back in a darker colour. When I asked a BB representative about it at a show, he mentioned it can sometimes be a problem for certain dog breeds and certain coat types. It is a problem that can easily be fixed by wearing a t-shirt under the harness, or by keeping your dog in a short cut.
As I said, I don't want to dampen the enthusiasm for these harnesses because I do love so much about it...but thought I should mention it so you can try it for a while before buying more than one!!
