Welcome to YorkieTalk. I agree with Princess, give your pup a firm "no" (not angrily or excitedly) and get up and walk away. Play time and attention end when your pup displays unwanted behavior.

You can also start by saying "ouch" or some people recommend mimicking a dog's yelp. If she continues, then withdraw attention until she is settled.

My older boy jumps and gives me love bites on the nose, but he has learned to do it very gently and not in a way that startles me.
