Uncontrollable hunger was the main symptom my Maltese mix exhibited before she was diagnosed with Cushings disease. Hunger, extreme thirst, weight gain, and lethargy. The regular blood panel was fine and the vet insisted I was overfeeding her and that's why the weight gain and why she was always hungry. I persisted and had a urine test for her cortisol level and then an acth stim test, and then an ultrasound. At the age of 4 she was diagnosed with pituary cushings. Her appetite is somewhat less since being put on Trilostane.

Not saying that's what is wrong with your baby - just wanted you to know that extreme hunger is a sign of Cushings disease. I wish I had know about it sooner.
