I think the waiting is the hardest part of the spay....I was very nervous when Trixie was spayed last summer (she was about 8 months old), but I had the bloodwork done and my vet was very patient with me and all my concerns. I had the office call me as soon as her surgery was over so that I wouldn't keep calling to find out how it was going. Trixie stayed overnight since there is a vet tech there 24 hrs a day and I picked her up the next morning. She wore a collar and she was slow moving for the next week or so. I would buy one of the kiss-e collars that are sold here on yt by one of the members (I couldn't get one in time for Trixie

so she had a foam form collar covered in clothe from my vet). Keep yourself busy that day and remember we will all be here saying prayers for an easy spay and recovery....and for some peace of mind for you
