Breeders have certain recommendations like that sometimes, but I don't know what the research or reasoning behind it is. Some say get dogs 2 years apart, or don't get 2 same sex, etc., or that it's harder to house train 2.
But, I can say that having 2 sisters from same litter (the light Morkies in my avatar) has been one of the best doggie experiences I have ever had. They are so cute together, I have never regretted for one minute taking both of them. Seriously, it has been pure joy.
I know you are going to love it too. Since they are still so young, some of their "fighting" might be just the way young pups play, though I know it can seem kinda rough sometimes. |
