I took Bentley to the groomer and they messed his hair up. So now I'm going to grow it out long again and groom him myself. Is there anything I can do while growing him out to prevent him from looking like I just don't care or do I just have to wait it out? He was cut in a puppy cut and they cut his bangs

. I know I should keep his feet trimmed and do a sanitary cut and ear trim. Is that all I can do? I feel bad bc he looks quite dishevled. I know people go through somewhat the same thing when growing out their hair. That in between stage where nothing can be done to make it look like you tried to do it. Just wondering what others have done during this in between stage to help their babies still feel pampered and gorgeous.
