Been reading the threads about birds of prey these days & in the heart of Cincinnati, this isn't a common sight. I am always listening for owls, etc, but seeing such a large bird gave me a bit of a scare. My smallest yorkie is 5.8 lbs, but I still think she is small. Any thoughts?
We also have decent sized birds around the house, and honestly, growing up I had Cairn Terriers and I never trusted them by outside when there was a larger bird present and the Cairns are around 15+ pounds. So I think you should be cautious. Especially since little Yorkie's can look more rodent like (not that I would ever consider them rodents) and can be mistaken for food.

Keep the little one safe!
