I called Deb the breeder as the baby was seizuring and so she was on the phone with me the entire time my daughter and I were freaking out as we tried to revive her with mouth to mouth and nutrical. She was so sorry and I know she was just as devastated as I was while it was happening. Deb was also on the phone with me as I zoomed down the highway on my way to the emergency animal hospital. She just kept telling me to massage her heart and said that maybe the baby was in a comma and the vet would bring her back. Gosh, I was clinging with hope onto those words, but unfortunately she was already dead when I got to the hospital. Deb was on the phone with me when the vet came into the room and gave me the horrible news. She also called me later on that night and told me I could call her any time of the day or night. She really has been supportive throughout this entire ordeal. I guess you can say she was right there with me even though she was thousands of miles away. |
