Im so sorry for you.
I considered buying a puppy from them. I just wasnt ready and I wanted to stay local and not have to ship.
Ive never (so far) had a baby die when sold to a new owner and I think I would be as devastated as the new owner if they died. I would have trouble sleeping. Being a breeder it can happen, and probably unfortunately will one day if you breed long enough.
What a sweet thing for her to send you flowers, Im sure she is sick over it. I only talked to her a couple times but she was so nice.
