What a jerk to care more about her bruised hand than your dog! Also odd that the poodle attacked even though Remy was in a "submissive" pose. My older dog was attacked a few months ago when I was walking her by our new neighbor's dog and their excuse was "it's a rescue" as though that meant they didn't have to pay the vet bills! They didn't even come out of their house although I was in front of it screaming so loud all the other neighbors came out to check on me, and their window was open! They heard everything. And they avoided me so well for weeks I finally gave up on making them pay the bill.
