Maximo has some great suggestions, but Joey will bark at the neighbors, he's very protective of his yard and house. We've taught him not to bark on walks, when he sees people, but kids on skate boards still drive him nuts. When you have people over, I suggest you tell them to ignore her, and let her make the first move, this works great with Joey. Bless you for giving this little girl a loving home!
