I took it with a grain of salt, understanding that she was upset, and I still picture them with short hair, even though there are long haired varieties out there. She could very easily have substituted another short-haired breed, & someone else would have found it "offensive"

It was obvious that she was upset, & picked a short-haired breed off the top of her mind to complain about.

Yes, I guess in the heat of the moment she said something that was offensive to some. She has apologized. I, in no way know the OP but I took what she had to say as not being offensive. I guess if I did own the breed she mentioned, I might have taken offense...but I do not think so. It was just a comparison note in my book.

As for the post:
"I am a groomer and I find your post title highly offensive. I'm sorry your yorkie got the wrong haircut but that is no reason to make such statements. There are quite a few groomers on this forum and we take pride in our work"

Her title could have been different but come on, honestly? Why did you take offense? This is an open forum and she was only expressing dissatisfaction. If I was a groomer who prided myself in my abilities I probably would have told her, "If you ever come my way, there is a free groom for you" What's better for business? Cutting down someone for a "post title" or....correcting someone elses mistake? I thought we were one in this community. Even if we live "hundreds of miles" away from each other...you never know where we might vacation or visit.
