I don't speak for anyone else but my feelings are that you should honor the agreement you made and register it under AKC and DO NOT BREED. Now I can't be your conscience but to reg it in any other club so you can breed it is DISHONEST. And if you aren't intending to breed then your AKC papers are enough. If this dog was sold to you under limited- the breeder did not want him or her bred. The major reason to register under another registry is if you are trying to play unfair and breed your dog. Some will use this for another avenue for obedience/agility but not many new owners Not nice- you are not playing by the rules if you are planing to breed.
This is a good reason to have the dog altered before you place it in a companion home. This stops this type of monkey business.
