I'd be more concerned as to what she's doing when you're asleep.
We use crates for night sleeping...they've learned to like the crates and look forward to going to bed every night. They need a break too. A quiet place undisturbed --- plus they are safe. No getting out and chewing on cords and other mischief when you're asleep.
