I know it is really hard - is there a way for her to be able to go out without asking? That is what really helped Rowdy - when we put in a doggy door, then he could go out without finding us to ask to go out (which he was NOT very good at either). Some use a bell at the door.

Rowdy was just like your baby in that he would always go when I took him outside, but he would go inside too. I was lucky though in that I could confine him to the den which has stained concrete floors, so the potty spots were so easy to clean up and didn't leave a smell. When we got the doggy door (at about 5 months old), then he started going out by himself and rarely had an accident after that.

Stay strong, it will get better. I feel your pain about taking your baby to someone else's house too - I can't let Rowdy out of my sight either because he doesn't know how to ask to go out. He will go stand by the door at my daughter's house, but if you don't see him, then he will go inside.

Good luck!
