I am a new yorkie mommy too

. I have a teacup yorkie weighing in at 13 oz. I had a baby play pen that I lined with wood Flooring on bottom and it has room for his bowls, puppy pad in a litter box, and a cylinder cat hut ( which he loves!). My DH calls it his condo, lol. So far so good and it takes little space and portable.
