I brought my little puppy home to a 21-pound Bichon. And, he hasn't let the Bichon rest for a minute. He jumps, licks, plays, and bites the Bichon constantly. My Bichon who was recovering from the loss of my other dog has come back to life and loves the little puppy. They play so much that I often have to separate them so I can get some peace.
Also - my Yorkie loves any other dog that visits. He could care less about their size. He loves my sister's lab (who loves him right back).
What I find amazing is that my little Yorkie even at 3 pounds can keep up with these bigger dogs and totally wear them out.
But - there is always a "but," isn't there??? The dogs that my little pup has been exposed to are very friendly and gentle with him. They seem rough, but really only paw him, lick him, and butt him with their noses. There is never any biting, growling, or hurting. I am sure this has encouraged his friendship with them.
