NEVER will I put a collar on my Yorkies...I don't really like collars period...I use harnesses with the ID tags on the D ring (where the leash attaches) it makes a jingly sound, I'd put a bell on a harness personally...collar also irritate their neck.
Some ppl use a break away collar-yes they are safer...to hold tags/bells not for walking and yes a break away does prevent strangulation and chocking. Leave it loose. |
