i actually thought about blocking off a little area of the hallway where she sleeps, but i wasn't sure if it would be too upsetting for her not to be in the living room with us. i don't know...i may just have to rush out and buy a used playpen or x-pen. i'm going to look at the second hand stores after i drop her off.
but you're right that the carrier may upset her, and all though she can't be mobile i know mental stress can wreak havoc on their little bodies.
