"dispatcher" I had that same pain that ran down my butt check and my leg and walked with a limp and hunched over, it's the nerve being pinched. I still have numbness in 2 of my toes from my ruptured disc in 2009 from the nerve being pinched, there is nothing that can be done for it now, the nerve is to damaged, and it was only about 2 weeks from the time my disc ruptured and i had surgery so please don't wait to long to get it checked out.

thank you.
I was in such pain past couple of days, I even misses my physical therapy. I met a lady during physical therapy last week, and she had herniated disc on her lower back which doctor recomanded surgery. She said that surgery didn't help at all!!! Is it possible? She said that doctors are quick to recomand surgery, since it's big $$$ for them. Now I'm scared and don't know where to start to find right doctor for me...
Is there any resource that I can use to find dood doctor in my area?
