Thank you all for the great advice. I made a bunch of it and froze some so I will have it. After the puppies are weaned, she is going back on her regular food. I told DH that and he said sure she is, you spoil the dogs and I can see you in the kitchen cooking for them. I said well it is not like it is all that hard lol.I feel so much better now that she ate so good.

Great to hear she ate well. Most dogs have a hard time turning their noses up at beef liver...plus it's full of what her body needs now. Don't feed her the liver exclusively, though. Too much of it can cause some diarrhea and they will get tired of anything, no matter how good, so switch off some with the meats.
Next time you're shopping for Sadie, try just getting some leg quarters of chicken for her. The dark meat is more nutritious and it's the skin and bones that make the broth. What I do is boil up about 3 leg quarters and remove the skin and bones after cooking. I put the pot with the broth in the fridge and let the fat chill on top. After it solidifies, you can just skim the fat off and throw it away, leaving you have a nice broth to use.
Most girls can be very picky until a couple weeks after whelping, so you may have to keep this up for a while. After that, the pups are drawing more milk and will put her in a mode where she's on a mission to eat. It's usually then that you can try introducing more dog food back into their diet.
