I may add show breeders will not contact potential show breeders or novices to place a prized "show potential puppy." Trust must be established and an abundance of show/breeding knowledge must be evident. You must prove yourself to them, not them prove themself to you. You're wrong. Word has gotten out that I'm interested in breeding Yorkies and I HAVE been contacted more than once.
Finding foundation stock is a tedious process and if I start with a mediocre, casually bred dog from a kennel with no reputation, I'll never live long enough to get to the garden which is my goal.
