Hello everyone. This is my 1st post and we're here to say hello! I'm a new parent to a loving little Yorkshire Terrier named Roxy she also goes by Rox, T-Rox, On the Rox, Rox-star ..you get the point
. I adopted her about a month ago. Shes from Corpus Christi, Texas but now lives with me in Austin, Tx. Shes 2 years young and I'm 26 years old. I've never owned a Yorkie before and it had been 8 years since I've owned a dog so needless to say I was a little reluctant to A.) Have to start caring for another life and B.) Get attached to a pet again. Shes been with me now for a little over 4 weeks but by obviousness of our attachment to one another you would think I birthed her myself. Since the day she arrived I've been getting 90% of my questions answered from this wonderful forum, questions like 'How much I should feed her?' to 'How to clean yorkie ears' and we just wanna give a big THANK YOU to everyone for being awesome and sharing your knowledge. I still have plenty to learn and am excited to be a new mom and a new member of a community that shares the same kind of love for these awesome little critters
