When I fostered Dachsies through the dachsie rescue group,(I ended up keeping most of them) my "Spice Girls" of the three of them one was healthy (the youngest one) but she did have a club foot and could run like the wind on three legs. The other two had heartworms, and Cinnamon only lived for a few weeks. Ginger (club foot) and Nutmeg both lived to be 17 and 18 years old. I had them for 10 of those years. |
My Doodlebug is from a puppymill too~Amish mill in Lancaster County PA. He's healthy and happy. I love him to death and he's adorable. The problem is people who go to brokers believing they are purchasing from reputable breeders. This is what bothers me so much. If these people only knew the truth they would be sickened.
