Off label use to treat sarcopic mites and probably a bunch of others... Very common.
Very sorry to the OP. Side effects at this level are uncommon. I would not be surprised if the ivermectin did cause the problem or trigger an underlying problem though. I would think more supportive care is indicated, so I'd get a second opinion.
