If you flagged the ad for being misleading (AKC/mixed) then that was probably ok to do, but to flag it for someone trying to sell a dog is wrong - despite Craiglist rules not to. Remember, they may need to sell the dog and if they can't they may end up dumping it off. You do not know all the facts about this particular case. It's their ad, not yours.
I've heard too many times of well meaning people flagging people's ads and end up hurting people/animals, etc in the process. Let craiglist run its program, it's their business to monitor not an ad reader's.
I just think more people should tend their own garden rather than concern themselves with what others are growing.
I also think if someone has to ask whether or not they did the right thing...they probably didn't. It's not that complicated.
