I'm laughing now at your question if I've gone to dog shows. I could've put a kid through college in what I've spent on entries alone, but thanks for being helpful.
IMHO- unless you share all the information- people do not know that you are so experienced in the show ring and as a breeder of herding dogs. We have many newbies who post a interest in wanting show quality- and know nothing of the basics. We try and answer their questions to help them not to provide them with a source of laughter at our expense.

If you contact me and do not share that you are so experienced in the show and breeding field I will also take you as a newbie. If you do not provide all the information- you can not be gave the correct answers.

Would suggest that you contact the YTCA website. They may be able to help you with the contact information of breeders in your areathat is posted. Regardless of your being a "very experienced show/breeder" you will have to contact show breeders. They are not sitting out there just waiting to sell you the show and breeding stock that they have.

I am sure that with all the Champions that you have finished potential clients came to you- you did not go to them.

You made the comment on another post on here when gave a link to a fellow
memeber- that you wanted show quality. Does this mean that the dogs at her site do not meet your standards? What are you stating about this memeber? Have you spoke with this member or seen her dogs in person.

There are people on this forum I like and those I do not care for. There are those who do not like me as a person. We have respect for each others dogs and do not make any type of inuendos as to someones quality of stock.

There are numerous breeders in your area and handlers at the shows- I am amazed that you did not work with any of them in finding your Ideal yorkie.
Have you gone to a Specialty Show or Westminster? Both of those allow you to see bloolines from all over the US. The Mt. Rainier Specialty Club held is specialty show this past October 5- that would have been a great place for you to have made contacts in your area.

I still find the dog shows a great place for looking. You can see the real thing not a picture-watch the animal move- look at temperment-
see the texture of the coat.

What bloodlines are you looking at? There are so many different bloodlines and as the breeders on here can tell you- they have a distinct look to each of them. That is why we do not all have dogs from the same person. I have four males and each one of them meets the standard and each one is a different as night and day.

Good Luck in your quest
