Missy, my 5 year old started acting weird yesterday, she was restless and wouldn't go to bed. She kept biting at her paw...I inspected her paws, they are fine, I have no idea what is wrong with her...so I stay up with her while she is awake. Then next day, she had started vomiting, she did this 3 times yesterday...then I got up to clean and found a pile of mucus with blood in it!!! There was no feces with it. I freaked out and called the vet and he said she sounds as if she strained herself, to watch her.....well, today when she poo'ed, it was wet and semi solid...but she has attempted to vomit 3 times today so far. Once was productive and the other two were dry heaves. She did drink a bit this morning, but won't eat and she has been sleeping today. (that is not unusual for her) but I can tell she doesn't feel well. I am pretty scared for her. Has this happened to anyone else? Also, her gums are pink...and I just gave her some yogurt..I had to put it into her mouth so she would try it...then she started licking it on her own...I'm worried though...any thoughts??
