You can also upload a picture as your "profile picture", it shows up on your profile page, while your avatar shows up besides your posts. Please don't feel stupid about not knowing how to do this stuff, it was really hard for me, and every time I learned how to do something I wrote a "how to guide" so I wouldn't forget! | LOL, I think she decided to do both.
