Left work at 8 pm as usual. Ran out of gas on way home. Called hubby who came by and checked it was a gas problem. I got out of the car when he tried to start it. He left to get gas and I got back into the jeep to wait (did not want to leave it on the side of the road). I locked the doors which i had not done since i got the jeep in Nov. I did not know that the seat belt was in the door. When I tried to get out of the car, the door would not open. I finally had to crawl over the console and go out the passenger door. Hubby and his brother tried for a long time to get the door open. The seat belt would not go back through the door.They did realize that there is something missing in the lock system. He finally sd he may have to saw through the lock pin to get the door open. Meanwhile until he can, I am without my jeep. Hoping today goes better !
