My baby, Leila, is going to be 2 in April, spayed at 10 months. She's had her routine changed greatly the last couple of weeks and I need advice. She used to be home with someone except for about 1-2 hours a day. She's now needing to be alone sometimes for 8 hours.
My problem is this: She's started leaking (not full out peeing) when she's sleeping. The problem has been sporadic. Took her to vet, no infections at all. He tends to think it's behavioral. Could it just be stress incontinence? She had been fine for a couple of days and then I went out today for 1 hour to her thigh damp again
Am I worrying too much and will this pass? I can come home at lunch for about 15 minutes, and am off during the summer at which time I can work more with her for the anxiety, as she seems a little more skittish with noises. She's always leaked, since a puppy, when greeting someone and am wondering if it's just the stress that has made her unable to hold her urine when sleeping. She doesn't leak at any other times.
Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.
