Great information!

To the OP, the insertion of the microchip only causes as much discomfort as getting vaccinated. The microchip is the size of a grain of rice and is inserted via a large guage needle between the shoulder blades. If inserted while under anesthesia for a spay, neuter, dental, etc there is no pain. If awake upon insertion, there is a tiny moment of pain just like you & I would have getting an injection.
