I totally agree with you and I think he should have won if the vote had not been a popularity contest.
Here is a thought though. Don't you think that when the tribes are considering whom to vote off next they will have to send someone they know can beat Russell in a challenge? That is if Russell wins the next challenge and the info gets back to the tribes? Hmmmm.
