If he is hungry than definitely feed him more. The guidelines are just that, guidelines based on averages. Every pups system is different, with various needs depending on their unique metabolism and their exercise expended. So if he is hungry feed him another potion. Better to make sure that he is getting enough to build his body, then having anatomical issues show up later.
As for allergies...Andromeda has issues with them on and off throughout the year, and we believe that they are mostly environmental. However, that being said, once they are active she becomes sensitive to many other things besides just the environmental ones, like Chicken in particular. I have found that keeping her GI tract in top condition is essential in maintaining her immune system.
