What a good post to read! Thank goodness you came along and were persistant in asking for Princess so she can have the loving life she deserves! Kudos to you for the rescue! Wish they could all be rescued and provided with loving homes. Too many don't realize it takes more than food & water! But the investment is returned a hundred-fold. My pups have probably saved my life -- giving much needed comforting, solace, loving, and just "needing me" during some tough emotional times. Looking back on the last couple of years, I realize I owe them quite a lot -- but they don't ask for much -- a kind word, a smile, a tossed toy (over and over again

) and plenty of belly rubs! They do deserve it!
