Launder everything! dog beds, your bed etc.
Get the carpet (and rugs!) steam cleaned
Couch and furniture too-yp even your mattress, I'd do all draperies aswell
Tell them you are having flea issues
Dawn only kills the live fleas on them
We had this issue when we took in a stray we found-a week later the damn fleas were hatching for two weeks and Princess has flea allergies-despite our Frontline Plus and ACV in their water-we had continual baby fleas hatching out the carpet-so I had the house done-well then I realized lil buggers were hatching out the yard in winter! Dog went out flea free came in with baby nasties on them! So we had the pest control guy come early and retreat the entire yard not just the perimeter.
Anyways I used Apple Cider Vinegar as a leave on rub on Princess she was not loving it or the smell me either but it detoured the fleas-she actually got a hot spot on her neck and that was the last straw for me-daily baths every morning with Dawn...poor girl but we rid ourselves in three days after the streaming and doing it all at once! |
