I am sorry. I have misunderstood this thread. I was thinking you asked if corn could be eaten off the cob. If this is what you meant (which I don't think you did, then my earlier post applies still). ...

However, if you are talking about the "cob" itself, then by all means no. A cob i don't believe is meant for ingestion whatsoever by anybody human or pet.
