I, rarely have to correct my adults...I look at them, they know...but they are adults...puppies are full of ginger and need to express themselves, just be patient...and groom everyday to get them used to it. |

Let's speak about bath time, as that is the question you raised. First organize your products for the bath, so they are easily accessible to you. Place a non slip bath mat on bottom of sink. when Razz was just a young pup I washed in the kitchen sink. Make sure you have a spray nozzle attached to the tap. Also at first use an empty squeeze bottle to rinse the face. That will help, try not to get water into their eyes. And most important relax yourself. Look at this time as a fun and bonding time with your pup. The pup may squirm, and fuss, a bit, no problem. Just gently hold him still, don't scold in angry tones. Talk in warm and calming tones to your dog. I develop a bath song for my dogs, that have their name prominently repeated in the song. I croon this song when I bathe them, cause if I'm singing I'm not anxious. lol
Show dogs are bathed weekly, so you and he are going to get a lot of practice
