I don't spank or yell, tried everything and resorted to this. She can be quite willful and I had to let her know under no uncertain terms that this was not acceptable behavior. She is out in public with me 24/7 and needed to learn manners. She is house trained, sits, comes on command walks well on a lead, stays and will not beg for food. I know most dissagree with the method, but it worked and I tried it on myself first. It feels like a static pop after walking on carpet and got her attention. |
You won't get slammed by me. I have 5 and I've tried EVERYTHING to stop their constant barking, but nothing has worked. So I'm planning on getting the collar too. I'll have to buy more than one I'm sure to get them all to stop at the same time. I just can't take it any longer.
