I was having quite a problem last year and the fleas were immune to Frontline and K9 Advantix. What turned it around for me was Comfortis (a pill/treat). It is fast acting, and they say works for 30+ days, but in my case it was so effective I didn't use again for almost 3 months. I will use it again when I see fleas, but not until. Also I love not having that oily top spot stuff on them, which I feel transfers to me, my bed, and everything.

I don't know about yard spray though.
