 Grooming Business question
Hopefully, this is the right place to post this question. For quite some time, I've been thinking about starting my own grooming business. My dogs are my passion and I really enjoy getting away and grooming not only my dogs but my friends dogs. I'm very familiar with grooming my own yorkies and friends' maltese but I've never groomed any other breed before. I'm trying to figure out how to get started. I've looked at a couple grooming schools but i don't have the ability to go somewhere for 6 months with my current career and family (skin and fur!). I've ordered a couple all-breed grooming books and pet care business books to help me get started.
Does anyone out there have any tips for me? Suggestions on books, video's, schools?
I've also been hoping to find someone in the grooming business who wouldn't mind being a mentor to me. Please pm me if interested! I promise to limit by bugging as much as possible! LOL
