So should I buy nutrical to be safe? Also I seen some of you say you gave them baby food so they would eat something, what kind of baby food? And one more thing...I know some of you use onsies instead of cones so how do you put them on your yorkie? Same way you do a baby? And what happens if they have to potty? Because Silver uses a puppy pad and just goes whenever, we don't watch her.
She should do just great after the surgery. All of mine were totally pooped and sleepy after surgery. I don't think I fed them the day of surgery and they were fine and the next day ate breakfast. I would avoid baby food, much of it contains onion powder which is not good for dogs. I'd feed her a small meal only. She should be back to normal quickly. Your vet will go over everything with you, so don't worry. I'm glad you are doing preanesthetic blood work to make sure she is safe for the procedure. Keep us posted
