Once again, my hat is off to the great breeders on here. Despite all the red flags, you are still willing to offer advice even when it's unlikely to be heeded. The health of the dogs are always first and foremost in your mind.
If by some chance that this is real, then I hope to heck the OP gets off her backside and takes the dog in to the vet rather than playing telephone tag. If a vet is truly so blase about whelping, then they need to have their license yanked. Every barrel has it's bottom... I would also hope that someone who says they volunteer at the Humane Society would have the sense to know when a dog is in distress and needs to be seen.
