I must be losing my mind as well. My doc's appointment was today not yesterday. (by the way I left the list of questions at home!) Dr. Kron didn't want to give me a shot for now. He wants me to manage the pain in my own and continue with my physical theraphy.(he said that it is normal to have pain up to 6~8month after the accident) I told him that I have consistent pain and some days it is so bad even vicodin doesn't work. He said that I should be glad that I don't have those extreme pain all day long 24/7.  If severity of my pain persist for next few month, we'll discuss epidural shots and surgery as well... It is so frustrating to feel sick and not being able to do simple things like running with your furbabies!!!!  |
I am sorry but i think i would get a second opinion. There is no need to be in that much pain for that long of a time. I am not saying the shots are a cure all and surgery along with PT may be in your future. There is no way i would go that long with that extreme of pain....sorry but i think a new docotr would be in order.
"dispatcher" I had that same pain that ran down my butt check and my leg and walked with a limp and hunched over, it's the nerve being pinched. I still have numbness in 2 of my toes from my ruptured disc in 2009 from the nerve being pinched, there is nothing that can be done for it now, the nerve is to damaged, and it was only about 2 weeks from the time my disc ruptured and i had surgery so please don't wait to long to get it checked out.
