I didn't mention the before but see other have a similar situation-Elvis isn't especially socially inclined

but on three occasions I can think of off hand we've had a infant over, he doesn't get excited, try to see them but he seems to "guard" them...the other dog are interested but Elvis going to the infant, turns his back and my Elvis who normally submits to, I say they bully him-but not really- he'll give up a toy to them instantly thought anyways he'll growl at the other dog to stay away and this is the only time they listen to him & back off, in fact Scoobers and Princess are terrified of his personality change, appear confused and just back off....Elvis doesn't smell the baby watch nothing, no interest, but he wants the other dogs away and he'll lay down next to them...we say he's our little fun police man for other things-is he really guarding the babies?
